In short: Mythic Realms does not collect, send or sell any data about you. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising. What you save stays on your device.
What the app stores
To remember your library between sessions, the app keeps the following on your device, in the app's own private storage:
- the myths and quotes you save,
- how far you have read each myth and which ones you have finished,
- the last myth you were reading,
- your recent searches,
- your reading preferences (day or night mode and text size),
- the mythic guide shown on your Account screen,
- whether you have already passed the welcome screen.
The app never sends this information anywhere. We cannot see it and it is not stored on any server of ours. Like the data of any app, it may be included in your own device backups (for example iCloud Backup), which Apple handles under your account.
What the app does not do
- It has no sign-up or login and asks for no name, email address or other personal details.
- It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools, and no third-party code that collects data.
- It does not ask for access to your camera, photos, contacts, location, microphone or any other permission.
- It does not connect to the internet. Every story, painting and font is included in the app.
When you choose to leave the app
- Share opens your device's share sheet with a short text. Where it goes is up to you and the app you pick.
- Image source links open in your web browser. The websites you visit (such as Wikimedia Commons) have their own privacy policies.
- Contact us opens a new message in your mail app. We only see what you choose to send.
- Listen reads a story aloud with your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. The text is handed to your operating system's speech engine, not to us.
Deleting your data
Open Account → Delete my data in the app. After you confirm, everything listed above is erased from your device. Deleting the app also removes it.
Apple
If you have agreed to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics such as crash counts. This is controlled by Apple and your settings, not by the app.
Children
The app collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version adds features that handle personal data, such as optional accounts, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
